The Plasco Building was a commercial complex and this was also its main feature . The building was located in a commercial district , so we must maintain its commercial identity and it should not be turned into a green or memorial space completely as a result of sentimental measures ; memories of this space should be preserved
Our memorial must be simple and without ambiguity so that our young generation – who will be our target community – can easily communicate with it in the future . Hence , we choose a large firefighting lamp with a special electronic design . 16 benches – in honor of 16 martyr firefighters – will be installed in the green path . By sitting on each one , one of the 16 rotary lights embedded in the big lamp will rotate and with the participation of all people , all of the red lights will turn on ; and how iconic will the participation of people be in this commemoration every night . And the kids who will ask and the elders who will tell the tale of that inauspicious day and the sacrifices which were made ; and thus this memory will last till eternity
Creating a sense of invitation in the building, by designing a welcoming gateway ; and also the presence of a central , organic and modern building which has embraced the memorial like a figure and the roof which is a pavilion with a green path which people walk on and will , other than seeing the bustle of the jomhouri avenue , rotate around the symbol of the firefighters
in the memory of the old cafes of the region , the central part can be full of cafes and restaurants with it's full glass facade
